Scholarship Opportunity Awarded- Congratulations to Julie Crompton

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED!!

The Ohio Kentucky Consortium of Physical Therapy Programs for Clinical Education is pleased to present a scholarship to Julie Crompton, PT, Center Coordinator of Clinical Education at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio. Julie will use the scholarship to attend a one-day pre-conference course at the Combined Sections Meeting of the APTA Wednesday, February 4th, 2015 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The course is entitled, "Developing Your Clinical Education Program: A Workshop for CCCEs."

In her application, Julie stated: "I am interested in networking with other clinicians and CCCEs as well as those in the academic community serving as DCE/ACCE... We are currently in the process of getting all of the CIs APTA certified as clinical instructors, and we will be hosting a credentialing course later this year to assist in that endeavor. I am very interested in making the clinical education program...a highly valued experience for the student and universities we partner with, and a challenging experience for our clinicians at the hospital...."

The Ohio-Kentucky Consortium is committed to supporting clinical faculty development and we look forward to working with Julie as we plan for our Fall 2015 Conference.
