Jordan Birdsong, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University, Houston, in 2018 and is a graduate of the TIRR Memorial Hermann Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program (2019). She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. Jordan serves as the Physical Therapy Education Resource Specialist at TIRR Memorial Hermann TMC, where her work spans direct patient care and clinical education leadership. In her role as Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE), she has served as a clinical instructor to numerous DPT and PTA students and leads efforts to expand innovative supervision models, including the 2:1 CI-to-student format, within an inpatient neurologic rehabilitation setting. Her clinical education philosophy is focused on individualized learning, progressive autonomy, and preparing students to reason confidently across practice settings. Clinically, Jordan specializes in spinal cord injury and neuromuscular rehabilitation, with a focus on supporting patients in returning to independence, community participation, and recreation, including a special interest in inclusive pickleball. She serves as the federal advocacy liaison for the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy and is passionate about advocating for the role of rehabilitation for the neurologic population at the local, state, and federal levels.

Camille Chiappone, PT, DPT graduated from Mount St. Joseph University’s DPT Program in 2017 and have been working in the acute care setting over the last 9 years. She took the Clinical Instructor course and began supervising students in the clinic as soon as she could. Over the last 9 years, she has supervised almost 40 students from various schools during their inpatient clinicals. The opportunity to teach and supervise students on their clinical rotations has been a great experience. Camille has become fascinated watching the clinical reasoning skills develop in the next generation of therapists during their clinical rotations. She held the position of SCCE for the last 3 years at her facility and enjoyed the extra responsibilities and duties this role has brought, especially being a source of support for other Clinical Instructors and their students during their clinical rotations. In addition to being a Clinical Instructor and SCCE, she has been an adjunct faculty member at Mount St. Joseph University’s DPT Program since 2018. All of these roles and experiences have made her passionate about and fascinated with how we educate within our profession, especially from the clinical education lens. She recently joined Mount St. Joseph University’s DPT Program as fulltime faculty and started coursework in the Doctorate of Health Sciences Program at the University of Indianapolis. As cliché as it sounds, she believes being able to teach not only helps the students we are currently working with, but helps us maintain our competence and passion for our profession as well.

Chrindye Dietz, PT, Cert MDT (McKenzie Credentialed Therapist) is a Clinical Specialist at Cleveland Clinic Richard E Jacobs Family Health Center in Avon and she has been the SCCE for Cleveland Clinic PT/PTA students for Westside/Main CCF Family Health Centers since 2002 of over 25+ locations. She graduated with Bachelors from the University of Toledo/Medical College of Ohio in PT in 1993. She is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Member, McKenzie Institute Member, and PAC member for Lorain County Community College PTA program.  She has been awarded the Clinical Educator of Year 2008 from Ohio Physical Therapy Association, and was a Recipient Cleveland Clinic Health Science Educator of year 2013. She has been a member of selection committee for Cleveland Clinic Health Science Educator of year for past 13 years. She is a Clinical Specialist in Spine, Headaches, Migraines, Cervicogenic Dizziness, Vestibular along with Psychologically Informed PT, Pain Science Specialty as well as Holistic physical therapy treatments including on mindfulness, healthy lifestyle choices, stress management and wellness education. Chrindye is credentialed in Mechanical Diagnostic Treatment under McKenzie Institute in 2002, and she is a Level I and Level II APTA Advanced Credentialed Clinical Instructor. She has given many presentations for Clinical Education Work Group for Cleveland Clinic Clinical Instructors in topics of Gen Z, Anxiety and Growth vs Fixed Mindset, Supporting the challenging student, Managing and Preventing Student/CI Mismatch.
