Prior to first using the PT CPI, you will need to complete training through the APTA:​

 

• You will need to access  the APTA Training Center for the PT CPI  Web Training (LMS-0521A)

• After training you will need to access the PT CPI Web using the login, https://cpi2.amsapps.com

As you access the PT CPI Web you will find in the APTA docs and links on the PT CPI home page:

 

• The PT CPI with its 18 behavioral objectives, descriptions of the quality indicators, and descriptions of the rating scale from “Beginner” to “Beyond Entry-Level” is copyrighted.  Please see the FAQ's about Copyright Restrictions.

 

• A link to the “Weekly Planning Form,” which may be used throughout a clinical education experience or internship.

 

• One other resource, the “Negotiated Learning Contract,” is posted for use with a challenging student.
